Acrobat Reader DC for Mac I have an HP Envy series printer.

So far, all of the other apps can print duplex just fine, so I presume the printer is set up correctly. I suppose Acrobat Reader thinks my printer does not support duplexing.

I suppose that works, but it defeats the purpose altogether – which is to utilized the Acrobat printer functions to their fullest including the duplexing option. Ah, you got me thinking straight now. When I go to the print dialog box and hit “print” it just goes back to the Acrobat dialog box and it’s the Acrobat dialog box that appears to override what was on the system dialog box except for the duplexing option!

I’m not entirely positive why although I’ll assume it’s because I selected duplexing or a profile that does duplexing when I went out to the system dialog box. I wonder if Acrobat is using the system print profile as a template and then overriding the conflicting parameters for example which pages to print You don’t have JavaScript enabled.
